The Planet Jr blade digs into the earth more effectively thanks to its unique shape. Designed to be fitted to a market gardening hoe, this blade is recommended for weeding high crops.
The two winglets of the blade make it easier to see where you are working. What's more, they prevent soil from being thrown onto the row by gathering the soil towards the middle of the inter-row area.
When working on relatively loose soil and undeveloped weeds, this blade will be more effective than a conventional hoeing blade.
Standard hoeing blades will be more effective on developed weeds.
